An Impending Road Trip

So today begins one of the most exciting adventures that I have been on during this five months of traveling. While I was in Australia a couple months ago, my friend Matyi and I decided to do a road trip across the United States. After doing some calculation and realizing that the entire country would be about 10,000 miles, we decided to just do the western half of the US, which should be around 3,000 miles, we hope. Our 19 day journey will start and end in Las Vegas. Stay tuned to the site! I will try to post every day. I will share pictures of parts of the country that most of my friends and I have never seen, share tales of people that we’ve met, and let you know if we killed each other yet. :-). I was responsible for coming up with our route which I haven’t exactly done, but we will be armed with my iPhone (for GPS purposes), some travel guides and maps from AAA, my MacBook (with car charger), and 4,431 songs in my iTunes library. Good times are ahead!

So far our destinations include Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Washington, Vancouver, Oregon, and California. If you have any suggestions for places that we should visit please let me know.
