Live on Periscope: How I Became a Nomad
A few weeks ago I resigned from my job. It was not scary. I did not second guess myself. For a number of reasons, it had to be done.
As I pack up my things and plan to move out of my apartment, everyone keeps asking, where are you moving to? It is a question that I have been asked time and time again, each time I transition out of a job and back into a nomadic lifestyle. When I say “nowhere, I am just going to travel,” they often look at me, shocked, in disbelief. My close friends don’t bat an eye when I tell them my plans. They are used to me and my lifestyle. They just say “let me know when you’re coming to _________ (insert random city in the world where my friends live).”
Many people ask me how it is that I live the life that I live. While I think the answer to that is very complicated, I will attempt to explain it next Wednesday on Periscope. Periscope is a recently launched social media site which allows for live broadcast to be streamed on your phone. During the broadcast people can interact with the speaker by asking questions and liking the broadcast.
I have decided to use this medium to share more of my travels and answer questions that many people have about this life I am leading. Ahead of the broadcast you can put questions below in the comments section and I will answer them on the broadcast.
To join the broadcast follow me on Periscope: @thecatchmeifyoucan and tune in next Tuesday, August 25 at 8:15pm.
