One year later: my first solo exhibit
One year ago, today, my hands were shaking, my heart was racing and I wasn’t sure what shoes to wear. With the prodding and support of several dear friends, I embarked on my first solo photography exhibit. I have been shooting regularly since 2005 and have amassed a photography collection of more than 20,000 images from around the world. The exhibit, “where in the world” featured 23 images from six continents. The title of the exhibit came from a childhood TV show called, “where in the world is Carmen SanDiego”, fitting for my life, and even more fitting for the show.
I was floored by the number of people that came out, at more than 150 people, it was more than I could’ve dreamed of. I was absolutely humbled by the number of people who purchased pieces on site. The feedback I received made my heart smile. As I think back on this monumental occasion, I wanted to share with you the images from the show and also offer the opportunity for you to purchase one of the remaining images. I showcased images from the six continents that I have visited. They are organized below by continent.
Please contact me directly for pricing. All of the images are mounted with a two-inch matte. One piece from another show is available and framed.
Here are a few pictures from that day!
