McDonald’s in Fiji

There are very few countries in the world that you can go and not be met by the golden arches. When I left Japan, I solemnly swore to myself that I would not eat McDonald’s anymore, and I am happy to say that I have not broken that promise. Almost, but not quite.

Twice I have tried to get one of the FJD 0.75 soft serve cones which equates to USD 0.34. The first time we were told that the soft serve was too soft to serve. The second time, Keondra ordered first and got her cone, in my head I thought to myself, “that would be crazy if the machine stopped working before I got my cone,” and sure enough when they got to me they told me that the soft serve was too soft to serve!
