A Girl’s Guide to Detroit

Today on facebook a friend of my oldest sister and avid follower of my blog, Michelle McDonald shared the link to the below video which was featured in the Huffington Post. Her exact words were, “I saw this and immediately thought of you.” This video is very timely given that I am in the middle of my #30daysinDetroit adventure and I thought it would be great to share it with my readers.

While I would love to see a better balance of color given the cities demographics, I have come to realize over the past year that these demographics are changing, swiftly. I just hope that the new Detroiters are embracing the old. I would love to know what you think about this short documentary. Please share it in the comments.
