Quick Math

Today I met a women in a small….village…well not sure if you could call it a village, we rode the moto along a small path through the bushes to arrive at her place, but anyway this lady who didn’t look a day over 40 had 12 children!!!! When I saw one of her sons I asked how old he was. I was told “vingt neuf ans” (29) which I didn’t believe and was further thrown when I was told he wasn’t the oldest. The oldest is 31 and she had him when she was 15.

So I did some quick math.

If she has 12 children at 9 months of pregnancy each, that means that she has lived 9 years of her life pregnant. YIKES!!!!
